Конспект открытого урока по английскому языку
на тему:
«Как ты проводишь свое свободное время? Хобби».
МБОУ СОШ имени М.И. Калинина
Класс: 7 Г
Учитель: Вакула М.Ю.
Цели урока:
- формирование коммуникативных компетенций по теме “How do you spend your free time? Hobbies”;
-развитие познавательных интересов учащихся, умения социального общения в совместной деятельности;
-формирование творческого мышления учащихся, умения обосновывать свою точку зрения.
Задачи урока:
-учебная: формировать навыки и умения в аудировании, чтении, устной речи (диалогическая, монологическая формы) по материалам темы “How do you spend your free time?” с использованием лексического, грамматического материала (-ing and –ed adjectives);
-познавательная: продолжить ознакомление учащихся с увлечениями в Великобритании, в России;
-развивающая: развивать интерес к учебно-познавательной деятельности на иностранном языке, развивать логику, внимание, память, целостность высказывания;
-воспитательная: формирование уважительного отношения к увлечениям других людей, к мнению другого человека.
Оборудование: мультимедийная презентация, наглядный и раздаточный материал, речевые структуры.
Формы работы: индивидуальная, фронтальная, парная, групповая, организация работы по вариантам.
Методы: репродуктивный, продуктивный, творческий.

Структура урока:

I. Организационный момент.
II. Фонетическая зарядка.
III. Речевая разминка.
IV. Чтение с детальным пониманием прочитанного.
V. Физ. минутка.
VI. Проверка домашнего задания.
VII. Практика устной речи учащихся по теме “Как ты проводишь свое свободное время? Хобби».
VIII. Актуализация и закрепление грамматического материала.
IX. Объяснение домашнего задания.
X. Подведение итогов.

ХОД УРОКА

I. Организационный момент.

T: Good morning, boys and girls! Let’s start our lesson. Get ready for the lesson. How are you today? I am fine too. Thank you. Sit down, please. Answer the questions:
What date is it today?
What day of the week is it today?
What is the weather like today?
Do you like such weather?
What weather do you like?
What weather don’t you like?
T: Listen and name the general word for the following ones: dancing, reading, watching TV, playing computer games. Yes, you are right. The general word is “HOBBY”. Today we are going to speak about your hobbies and free time.
T: The theme of our lesson is “How do you spend your free time? Hobbies”.

II. Фонетическая зарядка.

T: Look at the blackboard and let’s practice our pronunciation. Remember free time activities. Read and translate them.
Hobbies.
Dancing, swimming, music, reading, watching TV, cycling, football, snooker, gymnastics, athletics, bowling, collecting, sport, gardening, going to the theatre, cooking, travelling.

III. Речевая разминка.

T: Look at the cards number 1 and answer the questions about your free time activities, please. You should use the following structures:

I am fond of … I get pleasure from …
I am keen on … I am crazy / mad about …

1. What is a hobby?
2. Is it interesting to have a hobby?
3. What can people collect?
4. What hobbies do you know?
5. What is your hobby?
6. You are a collector, aren’t you?
7. What collection(s) do you have?
8. Are you proud of your collection(s)?
9. Is it fun to have a hobby?
10. Which is your favourite sport?

IV. Чтение с детальным пониманием прочитанного.

T: Take the cards number 2 and look through the questions after the text and say what kind of hobby it is. Have you ever heard about kite-flying? Look at the slide. It is an interesting hobby, isn’t it? Let’s read and translate the text carefully. Try to grasp both the main idea and the details. Work in pairs, find answers to all questions.
KITE-FLYING
Kite-flying is an old hobby in England. Many years ago people in London liked kite-flying. In our days young men and old men, women and children take their kites to the parks and threw them up into the sky. The kites are of many colours. Some of them are square and others have three corners. Some kites are like boxes, some look like balls or flowers. Many people, and children too, make their kites themselves. They make kites of paper, and fix bright ribbons to them. Some people buy their kites in the shops.
In some countries kite-flying is a sport. People have competitions in kite-flying.

T: Try to ask each other and answer the questions.

V. Физ. минутка.

T: Let’s have a rest and save our eyes. Look at the slides and follow the arrow.

VI. Проверка домашнего задания.

T: Let’s check up your homework. Your task was to make up the stories about your favourite activities in your free time. Please, tell us about your hobbies.
T: Your marks are …
Whose story is the most interesting?
Whose story was the shortest?
Whose story was the longest?

VII. Практика устной речи учащихся по теме “Как ты проводишь свое свободное время? Хобби».

T: Look at the following list of leisure activities. Let’s read and translate them.

doing a sport going to the theatre
going round a market going to a rock concert
going to an opera reading a book
growing flowers visiting an art gallery
visiting a museum going to a disco club
playing the guitar fishing
having a picnic rollerblading
horse riding cycling

T: What is the English for …? What is the Russian for …?
Choose one of these that you have done. Put them in your order of preference.
Use the structure: “I have … lately / recently”.

VIII. Актуализация и закрепление грамматического материала.

T: Let’s revise the adjectives with endings –ing and –ed. Look at the slide and choose the appropriate adjective.

1. Tom is ________ in motorsport. He finds it _________. (interesting / interested)
2. I’m so ________ by collecting stamps. It’s _________ to learn a lot about the world. (amusing / amused)
3. Reading books is not ______ . I am never _______ with it. (boring / bored)
4. My Mum was _______ at the news. (surprising / surprised)
5. Cycling is an ________ hobby. (exciting / excited)

T: Take the cards number 3 and choose the correct word to describe things and people’s feelings.

1. It was not ________ for Tom to do the tests. (interesting / interested)
2. Our teacher was _________ with Nick who was not a prodigy. (disappointing / disappointed)
3.Pupils were _________ because their marks were not good. (depressing/depressed)
4. George didn’t have a brother or a sister. He was ________ to tears. (boring / bored)

IX. Объяснение домашнего задания.

T: Write down your homework: write 5-7 sentences about your activities in your free time.

X. Подведение итогов.

T: In conclusion, I’d like to say that it’s very interesting to have a hobby. Hobbies help us to learn more about our planet, to be more intelligent and well-educated. Thank you for your work. Our lesson is over. Good bye!
